My cat waiting for breakfast

This is where I stayed when I was deployed to hurricane
Wilma, Miami Florida 2005.
If you think you may be interested in disaster relief work for national
assignments, (minimum 3 week stay) contact your local Red Cross.
Be prepared for any type of situation you may encounter. Once
you report to headquarters, you may work immediately, or you may have to wait days for your assignment. You may be assigned
a difficult job you may not even want, live in cramped, uncomfortable conditions, no shower, no transportation, very long
hours. But also you may have an easy 9-5 job, staying at a very nice motel , your own rental car, and able to have
time off.
Photoshop Work
This was my final project in Photoshop 2 class. It was for
my parent's 50th anniversary. Originally I included a poem under the picture, but did not want to include it here because
I copied it from somewhere. But anyway, the original photo was black and white. I converted it to color by selecting
sections and coloring them, one by one. The cake and the flowers were the most difficult parts.
There are many ways in Photoshop to make a sketch into a photo,
but I found this is the easiest and best way: Make sure the background is black and the foreground if white. Bascially
I changed the Mode to Grayscale. Then under Filter, select
Sketch, then Photocopy. Adjust the contrast. Then if you want
it in color, go back to Mode, then select RGB color. Use the
paint brush to color at about 10% opacity. I also added noise.
This was my final project in my online Photoshop 1 class. This was a matter of using layers
and varying degrees of opacity.
